OUR STORY
Robert Wechsler PE is a boutique structural engineering firm led by Rob Wechsler. With high-rise experience in Miami, FL under his belt, Rob has since shifted focus and decided to hang his own shingle.
Founded in 2018, RWPE fills a gap in the market for small to medium size project and niche designs on fast-pace construction timelines.
Rob Wechsler is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Master's Degree from Georgia Institute of Technology. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida.
OUR VISION
RWPE uses new technologies to quickly produce structurally sound and efficient solutions. We may be a young company, but a foundation based on innovative technology will allow us to grow and scale.
Whether its a full structural set of drawings, an inspection of an existing structure, or shop drawing production, Rob and his team promise quick communication and a vision that keeps the building's end users at the forefront.
OUR EDGE
The economics of structural engineering is upside down. In most cases, engineers negotiate a lump-sum contract. This contract set-up incentives a large firm to allocate as little design time as possible and does not leave much wiggle room for drawing revisions leading to an unmotivated engineer.
RWPE breaks the mold in two distinct ways: first, we work with contractors and architects to optimize materials used and efficiency of construction schedule. Second, we have something to prove! We have assembled young, hungry, and dedicated team that leverages technology to provide precise designs on a rapid timeline.
DESIGN - BUILD
Design - Build projects provide the building owner with the most efficient structural solutions possible as economics take on a larger role (second only to safety and code compliance). RWPE has a strategic alliance with Caribbean Structural Systems and Aptec Building Systems to provide full structural solutions on the following types of projects:
